Just because Arabica beans are the types of beans that are most common doesn’t mean that Robusta beans are less than or are not going to still make a great cup of coffee. A lot of the Robusta beans that you might find are going to be the same types of coffee beans that are used for instant coffee or freezer coffee. One thing to consider is the fact that Robusta beans are going to cost less than their counterpart, the Arabica bean, so this is a big draw. In addition to this, it may surprise you to find that Robusta coffee beans are the most common type of bean that is used in coffee that you would get at a restaurant.
There are a lot of factors that will end up affecting the way that these beans taste when they are turned into coffee. The way in which the beans were prepared will be the easiest way to determine whether or not a certain style of coffee is going to be what the bean turns into. Another thing to consider is where the bean itself was actually grown and picked from. Lastly, the color of the bean can affect flavor very particularly because the dark beans are going to have a bolder flavor.
